Adoption
Pets are so many things. Companions, buddies, a reason to come home once in a while, another member of the family, a fun playmate for your child or your other pet. There are endless possibilities of how pets keep us happy. And it is important where you get your pet. We adopted this little fella , above, from the San Francisco SPCA. Now while you may want a dog, a rabbit, a hamster, a chinchilla, mice, or even a bird, the SFSPCA has those animals too. The reason why I think it is so important that I write this post, is because, too many animals are bred for money and profit. It is quite sad. So many pets are put to sleep because they are unwanted.Too many animals are abused in transport and in pet stores. Too many animals are left astray, unwanted on the street. With the feral cats reproducing like minks in the streets, it should be a crime for animal breeders to sell for money, kittens and cats. All you need to do to adopt a new furry forever friend is log onto you local animal rescue website, here and here — where you will find and be redirected to abundant opportunities to place a furry little critter in your home.
Remember — a house is not a home, until you get a pet!
