Hello 2022
It’s been a hot minute since I posted anything! I’ve been taking some time at the end of this year to reflect on everything that’s transpired and everything that’s changed. But I cannot end the year without sharing my two cents and what I truly believe everyone should be doing right now.
Hello Friends! Here is my 2022 “Vibrate Higher” recommendations list just for you:
1. Wake each day to antiviral detox water. This helps to flush out the liver first thing. If you don’t drink detox water upon rising, your body may be re-absorbing toxins that have collected into your liver overnight instead of eliminating them. I do 32oz. filtered room temp. water infused overnight with organic wild thyme herb + juice of 1 lemon🍋 + 2 Tbsp. raw honey. I find one bunch of thyme, (as sold in the stores in those little plastic boxes) is sufficient for infusing 64oz. of water. Overnight herbal infusions make for optimal potency.
2. If you have the capacity to start a new healthy habit, buy my favorite juicer and start juicing fresh celery juice each and every morning! This excites me in a BIG way. If you are pressed for time in the mornings, juice celery before bed and it’s ready to rock straight after your detox water when you rise. I drink 32oz. approximately 25 minutes after celery juice. My favorite juicer is easy to use and easy to clean. It gets the most juice out of the celery so you’ll save money long term.
Read this book to learn more about raising hydrochloric acid in the gut, which reduces all kinds of inflammation! Once people start drinking CJ, they never want to stop, because they are loving how it reduces inflammation. I wish everyone had this basic standard of care and information.
3. Movement: I do not care whether you are folding laundry, cleaning your house, stretching while watching/listening to something, doing intense Pilates at a studio, running, biking or walking your dog – you MUST fit movement into your day. Some people prefer mornings so they can get it out of the way. I personally implement many different movements into my day so it just depends. My favorite organized lessons are in yoga and pilates. And I have an elliptical obsession as well. I am getting an indoor rebounder soon because I love jumping on the kids’ trampoline in order to move lymph, but it’s outside and it’s freezing out there. Movement doesn’t have to be intense like when you feel like puking – movement can be gentle and giving while increasing flexibility and range of motion, it doesn’t always need to be heavy weights and jarring on the joints. 4. Fuel: how do you fill up your tank? Do you get your car the best gas but when it comes to your temple , your body, you scrimp and save? Elevate your quality of fuel for your body, and this will help you break ground on so many other things you are ready to accomplish. Eat closest to nature. Less processed foods when possible. I personally do best with plants, lots and lots of plants. I take lots of herbs and supplements as well. However , everyone is bio-individual and needs to work on figuring out what works best for them. I can help you figure out how to turn the needle in your health. 5. Mindset: you are made of your thoughts, your thoughts create actions. Mindset is a tricky one because so many people forget about it. If you don’t have an accountability partner or even a health coach, this is one area where you may find you run into a lot of obstacles and get stumped. I am my very own first health coach, thats how I know I can help others. I have developed a breathing + meditation practice that helps to ground me into the mindset of calm and tranquility. That’s why I am so sensitive to other peoples energies, because I have cleared my own frustrations through my meditation practice, that which took me years to develop, and I’m very aware of erratic energies around me. If you have a hard time meditating or just don’t know how to do it. Try simply closing your eyes for 4 deep breaths and see how that makes you feel. Take mindful moments like this throughout your day and notice how your energies shift.
6. Passion/Work: find your joy. If you are not currently being paid to do the work you feel you want to be doing in this world, don’t quit your day job! Start doing the thing anyway. Discover and develop your passion. Nothing is too silly. It can be a hobby, it doesn’t have to be a job. If you desire to create it into a job, work on that everyday and the power of attraction will bring people and places to you to help you along your path. Energy doesn’t lie. If you are really excited about your mission, just begin. Every great journey begins with one single yet brave little step. As a child I wanted to be a singer, dancer, writer, and artist. As a health and happiness blogger and self taught health expert, and future integrative nutrition holistic health coach; I feel I can finally live out my purpose in life. Writing useful blogposts and helping others through my coaching practice. YAY! The best is yet to come.
7. Take inventory of things that are not working, such as people, relationships, home environment, finances, career, education, health, and be honest with yourself. Really tune into your Self and write down everything and everyone that makes you feel bad about yourself. Stop giving this thing your attention. Do not engage with behaviors or with people that do not bring you joy. Marie Kondo the crap out of this one. Don’t be afraid to let go. New things come when you make space for them, so clear out the old. Make room for something new! Crowd out unwanted situations with plans to do the things that inspire you instead. Focus on the things you can change, and go from there.
8. Lastly because I am an Eenagram 8 , in case anyone was wondering, and mainly because home is where the hearth is. Lets get grounded in our senses. Lets start cooking! If you are accustomed to getting your meals on the go , out and about , it’s sometimes nice to be creative and take the time to infuse some self love into your home cooking. You won’t regret finding the time to nourish your body and soul in this way. If you can’t do it often, try for 1x a week. Find some of my easy recipes. If you can’t afford to eat out, and you cook everyday anyway, try slowing down a little bit and being super mindful to the foods you are creating together, food is art and food is medicine. Presentation is everything. Kids will eat new foods if you keep offering. Do not give up! Take some inner enjoyment in this dreaded task. Maple syrup shots help while cooking. 🥃
I consider myself an expert in the matter of my own health and happiness, and I know that working with me will be transformational and life changing for you in so many ways. I want to be that tiny flicker of hope for healing ❤️🩹 that the world so desperately needs right now. Now more than ever, you must do all you can in your power to elevate your physical, mental and soul manifestations. Take control and lead gracefully into the new year.
- Go out into this brave new world, equipped with the knowledge and know-how to keep your own energies vibrating high, so if the plague comes around, you will be stronger than ever, with proper tools to ward off the bugs, and rise up from the spells 🪄 that took you down. Magic happens in the natural world and your body is fighting for your life. Don’t you think it’s time you started loving on your body and giving your body what it needs to fight harder? I do believe this type of preventative methodology can really protect and make you bulletproof.
